The cruise NoTAC has ended

The second season of NoTAC ("Novel Tracers of Arctic Carbon and water exchange in the Fram Strait") led by Dr. Rafael Gonçalves-Araujo, from the Technical University of Denmark, has come to an end. The expedition PeCaBeau (“Permafrost carbon on the Beaufort Shelf”), fully funded by ARICE, has started. The team will sail 28 days on board the Canadian icebreaker CCGS Amundsen operated by Amundsen Science.On their Expedition blog, the team provides regular updates.
